Empowering businesses, professionals & individuals with Class 3 DSC — your secure identity in the digital world. Fast issuance, Aadhaar-based eKYC, valid across all major Government portals.
A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is the digital equivalent of a physical signature — legally valid under the IT Act 2000, Government of India.
Digital Security
A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is a secure cryptographic key issued by a Government-licensed Certifying Authority (CA). It serves as your legal digital identity — allowing you to sign electronic documents, file tax returns, submit MCA forms, participate in tenders and authenticate yourself on government portals.
Digital signatures are legally admissible in Indian courts under Section 5 of the IT Act, 2000.
Uses Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to create tamper-proof signatures that cannot be forged.
Fully paperless process — verified via Aadhaar OTP/biometric and PAN, no physical documents needed.
Your DSC is securely stored on an encrypted hardware token — completely portable and safe.
As of 2021, only Class 3 DSC is issued in India — the highest assurance level. Choose the right type based on your purpose.
Standard DSC for individuals — professionals, salaried persons, directors & business owners. Perfect for tax filings and company forms.
Two certificates in one token — one for signing, one for encrypting. Mandatory for most government e-procurement portals.
Issued in the company or LLP name with the authorised signatory — used for corporate-level filings on MCA and regulatory portals.
Special-purpose Class 3 DSC formatted exclusively for the DGFT portal. Mandatory for IEC holders in import-export operations.
Server-side automated signing for high-volume operations. Used by organizations for bulk document signing without manual intervention.
Expired or expiring soon? We handle renewals quickly and seamlessly — no new token required if you already have one.
Class 3 DSC is now the universal standard — required across 8+ major government portals and regulatory bodies.
Mandatory for companies, LLPs & tax audit cases. ITR-6 and audit reports require DSC authentication.
Directors, CAs & CS professionals need DSC for SPICe+, DIR-3 KYC, MGT-7, AOC-4 and all e-forms.
Required for GST registration of companies/LLPs, core field amendments and LUT filing.
Mandatory for all government procurement portals — CPPP, GeM, state PWD, IREPS, Railways.
IEC applications, Advance Authorisation, EPCG licences and import-export compliance.
Trademark registration, patent applications and copyright filings with Intellectual Property India.
Employee Provident Fund filings, SEBI compliance filings and IRDAI submissions for regulated entities.

A DSC is a secure cryptographic key issued by a Government-licensed Certifying Authority (CA) under the IT Act 2000. It digitally authenticates your identity on government and private portals — making electronic documents as legally valid as physically signed ones.
No. As per CCA (Controller of Certifying Authorities) guidelines effective January 1, 2021, Class 2 DSCs have been discontinued. Only Class 3 DSCs are now issued — which provide a higher level of security and are accepted on all portals where Class 2 was previously used.
With ZFiling's streamlined process, most DSCs are issued within 24–48 hours of successful Aadhaar eKYC and payment. In urgent cases, same-day issuance is possible. Physical token dispatch, if required, adds 2–3 business days for courier.
Yes. A single Class 3 DSC can be used across multiple portals — Income Tax, MCA21, GST, GeM, EPFO, and more. However, DGFT DSC is a special-purpose certificate formatted specifically for the DGFT portal and cannot be used on other portals.
Once expired, your DSC cannot be used for signing until renewed. We recommend renewing 30 days before expiry. In most cases, the same USB token can be re-used for renewal — no new hardware needed. Contact ZFiling for a quick renewal with minimal documentation.
DSC is mandatory for companies filing ITR-6, for tax audit cases, and for LLPs. For individuals (salaried / non-audit), DSC is optional — you can also use Aadhaar OTP or EVC. However, having a DSC provides greater security and is recommended for HNIs and professionals.
A Signing DSC only authenticates your identity and locks documents from tampering. A Sign+Encrypt (Combo) DSC has two certificates — one for signing and one for encrypting data. The combo is mandatory for most e-tendering portals where bid confidentiality is required.
Fast, paperless, and expert-guided — ZFiling makes DSC issuance simple for individuals, professionals, and enterprises alike.
